HOW TO WARM BREAST MILK or FORMULA IN A STAINLESS STEEL BOTTLE?

Stainless steel bottles should not be microwaved, and microwaves should not be used to heat milk or formula. It is well known in the nursing and childcare industry that breast milk or formula should not be heated in a microwave oven, as it has nothing to do with safe and healthy feeding of babies.

You can follow these steps to heat a bottle of milk:

Use an electric bottle warmer: be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.

or

Place a stainless steel bottle filled with milk or other liquid to be heated in a pot or mug of heated water for 1-2 minutes or until the bottle is lukewarm.

or

You can run hot tap water over the bottom of the bottle for 30 seconds.

Never give a baby liquid above 99˚F / 37˚C and always test on your wrist before feeding as a precaution.
